The Box Turtle Book Cover

In my role as a freelance designer, I engage in diverse opportunities, including illustration work. One notable project involved a self-published book written by Bert Chamberlain, chronicling a man's travels on the Mississippi River in his handmade sailboat. Demonstrating my illustration skills, I utilized my iPad, Apple Pencil, and Procreate to craft a digital painting featuring his boat, hand lettering, and a vivid seascape. The aim was to vividly capture the essence of his thrilling journey, using vibrant colors to immerse the reader in Bert's experience. Additionally, I undertook the typesetting and layout of the book cover.
