BMORE ADDY's Awards Creative Campaign

Working at Harvey Agency in Baltimore, Maryland, we actively participated in the Baltimore chapter of the AAF Addy Awards, the advertising industry's premier and most inclusive competition. In 2016, our agency hosted the event and chose the theme "BMORE," a playful homage to Baltimore culture with nods to John Waters' Pink Flamingo, lemon treats, Berger cookies, crabs with Old Bay, and "Hons" with cat-eye glasses. I played a significant role in designing the majority of the marketing and event materials, marking one of my first opportunities to select props and art direct a photoshoot. Leveraging my expertise in textile pattern design, I created lively patterns featuring repeated items like cat-eye glasses and lemons. The strategic use of heavy shadows added drama to each image. Consistency was maintained across the website, social media posts, catalog, and event posters, ensuring a bold and playful aesthetic. Layering techniques with typography and patterns were employed to capture attention and build excitement for the event.
